A totally unique example of famous cask aged gin. Rested in an Islay cask to impart more familiar peaty notes along-side classic vanilla flavours.
Botanicals: Juniper berries, Coriander seeds, Angelica root, Lemon peel, Orange peel, Cassia bark, Liquorice, Ground nutmeg,
Cinnamon bark, Orris root.
Nose: Lime with warming smell of juniper. Some honey follows, before light touches of peat smoke.
Palate: Spicy and fruity kick from those gin botanicals, waves of vanilla combined with a silky smooth, smoky mouth feel from the Islay cask. There’s black pepper and lime peel, ash, sea salt and coriander seed.
Finish: A lovely lingering peppery finish.
Suggested serve: Drink neat over ice or serve with ginger beer or ginger ale in a tall glass over ice with a slice of lime to garnish.
